Step By Step Breakdown:

1. Prep the nails and shape them into medium almond silhouettes with smooth tapered tips.
2. Apply a base coat and cure completely.
3. Paint selected nails with two coats of deep burgundy polish for rich, opaque coverage.
4. Apply creamy ivory polish to the sweater-knit and plaid accent nails.
5. For the plaid design, use a fine liner brush to paint several thin black vertical and horizontal stripes.
6. Add burgundy stripes through selected areas, allowing them to intersect the black lines and form the tartan-inspired pattern.
7. On the sweater accent nails, use thick white gel to draw raised curved cable-knit lines down the center.
8. Add smaller textured lines along the sides to recreate the dimensional knitted pattern.
