Estimated Time to Achieve the Look:

110–140 minutes

Step By Step Breakdown:

  1. Prep the nails and sculpt them into extra-long coffin extensions with straight sidewalls and squared tips.
  2. Apply a sheer nude-pink polish over the nail bed and cure completely.
  3. Map out a deep curved French section, leaving the center of each nail nude.
  4. Fill the French area with alternating black and white squares to create the checkerboard pattern.
  5. Continue the checker pattern around the sides of the nude section for the framed appearance shown in the photo.
  6. Use a fine liner brush to add a thin dark outline along the border between the nude center and checkerboard design.
  7. Create tiny five-petal pink flowers at scattered points across the black and white squares.
  8. Add small raised centers to the flowers for subtle 3D dimension.
  9. Keep the flower placement irregular so the checkerboard remains visible and the design does not appear overcrowded.
  10. Finish with a glossy top coat, carefully working around the raised floral details to preserve their dimension.
