Neon Checkerboard Drip Stiletto
Description of Design:
A bold graphic manicure featuring long stiletto nails covered in high-contrast black-and-white checkerboard patterns mixed with vivid neon accents. Selected nails transition from checkerboard sections into dripping black-and-white details over electric orange, lime green, bright blue, and purple tips, while others feature full checkerboard designs framed with thin neon edges. Step By Step Breakdown:
- Prep the nails and shape them into long, sharply tapered stiletto points.
- Apply a base coat and cure completely before beginning the graphic artwork.
- Paint selected nails with a crisp white base to create the foundation for the checkerboard pattern.
- Use a fine liner brush to divide the nails into alternating square sections and fill every other square with black polish.
- On the colorful accent nails, keep the checkerboard design concentrated around the upper portion of the nail.
- Paint the pointed tips in bright orange, neon green, electric blue, or purple.
- Extend irregular black-and-white drips downward from the checkerboard sections into the neon colors, varying the length and shape of each drip.
- On the full-checkerboard nails, continue the black-and-white squares toward the pointed tip and add a thin neon outline along selected sidewalls.
- Refine the squares, drips, and colored borders with a fine detail brush so the graphic shapes remain crisp and highly contrasted.
- Finish with a high-gloss top coat to intensify the neon colors and give the checkerboard artwork a smooth reflective finish.
