Step By Step Breakdown:
- Prep the nails and shape them into a long coffin silhouette with straight sidewalls and clean squared tips.
- Apply a base coat and cure completely.
- Paint each nail with a deep navy-blue base to create the dark foundation visible around the edges.
- Apply a metallic or magnetic electric-blue gel polish evenly across the entire nail.
- Before curing, use a magnetic tool to concentrate the brighter turquoise-blue reflection vertically through the center of the nail.
- Move the magnet along both sidewalls to deepen the navy edges while maintaining the brighter central highlight.
- Repeat the magnetic layer if necessary to intensify the dimensional blue shift.
- Keep the reflective effect running lengthwise from the cuticle toward the squared tip to visually elongate the nails.
- Cure the completed magnetic layer thoroughly.
- Finish with a high-gloss top coat to create the smooth, glassy blue chrome appearance shown in the photo.
